Job summary

Ford Motor Company’s Racing division seeks a talented engineer to lead interior design and release for an upcoming model program. You’ll manage QCWFT, coordinate with FSS and internal/external teams, and ensure design interfaces meet customer expectations in a high-performance context.

The role requires 5+ years in body interior design/release, strong CAD/visualization skills (3DX, Teamcenter, Vis Mockup, CATIA), and a passion for performance vehicles.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
5+ years in Body Interior Design & Release; experience delivering a completed program.
Experience with CAD or visualization tools is required.
Familiarity with GPDS and program delivery processes.
Knowledge of 3DX, Teamcenter, Vis Mockup, CATIA, DFMEA, FEDE, FEDEBOM, WERS.

Responsibilities

Lead design, release and delivery of interior components for Ford Racing on a new model program.
Manage QCWFT to support program milestones.
Lead FSS or other resources to deliver the program.
Manage design and color/material studio interfaces to meet customer expectations.
Ensure conformance to Ford Racing DNA and regulatory requirements.
Develop innovative solutions for high-performance vehicles.
Support issue resolution and design change management during prototype and launch builds.
Interface with Core Body Interior Engineering Organization.
