Job summary

Ford Racing is seeking a Chassis Engineer to lead the design, release, and delivery of chassis components and systems. You will manage QCWFT to support program milestones and collaborate with Purchasing to source commodities.

You will lead FSS and internal/external resources, ensure conformance to Ford Racing DNA and regulatory requirements, develop innovative solutions, and support prototype builds, launch, production, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required.
• 4+ years in Chassis engineering with at least one completed program.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Body exterior or powertrain experience may be considered.
• 2+ years with CAD or visualization tools.
• Understanding of GPDS and program delivery processes.
• Experience with Teamcenter, Vis Mockup, 3Dx, CATIA, DFMEA, WERS.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, release, and delivery of chassis components and systems.
• Manage QCWFT to support program milestones.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to source commodities.
• Lead program delivery through milestones.
• Lead FSS and internal/external resources to deliver programs.
• Ensure conformance to Ford Racing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop innovative solutions including CAE analysis and testing.
• Support issue resolution and design change management during prototype and launch builds.
• Interface with Core Chassis Organization; support production and cost optimization.
