Ford Racing is seeking a Chassis Engineer to lead the design, release, and delivery of chassis components and systems. You will manage QCWFT to support program milestones and collaborate with Purchasing to source commodities.
You will lead FSS and internal/external resources, ensure conformance to Ford Racing DNA and regulatory requirements, develop innovative solutions, and support prototype builds, launch, production, and cost optimization.
Lead the design, release, and delivery of Chassis components and systems for Ford Racing
Manage Quality, Cost, Weight, Function and Timing (QCWFT) to support program and engineering GPDS milestones
Work with Purchasing to source commodities
Lead program delivery through various milestones
Lead FSS (Full Service Suppliers) and/or other internal/external resources to deliver subject programs
Assure conformance to the Ford Racing DNA and all applicable Ford and regulatory requirements
Develop innovative solutions for Racing vehicles, including design, CAE analysis, and testing
Support issue resolution and design change management during prototype and launch builds
Interface and maintain collaborative relationship with Core Chassis Organization
Support current production and quality efforts
Support cost optimization efforts
Demonstrates expertise in Chassis Engineering with a focus on program delivery, quality management, and innovative design solutions for Racing vehicles. Proficient in CAD tools and collaborative processes to ensure compliance with Ford Racing standards and regulatory requirements.
