Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Knowledge of medical/healthcare/pharmacy industry preferred.
• Prior sales experience desirable.
• Ability to learn, analyze, understand and convey complex information.

Responsibilities

• Develop superior product and disease state knowledge and educate healthcare professionals about clinical evidence, indications, and product profiles.
• Drive sales performance to meet or exceed territory forecasts and budgets.
• Complete training requirements, including product examinations.
• Maintain knowledge of market, demographic, and managed care information for territory.
• Collaborate with District Sales Manager and Regional Sales Director on local strategy and business plans to increase sales.
• Capitalize on formulary approvals and opportunities via Strategic Targeting Plans using resources to boost territory effectiveness.
• Provide education to healthcare providers within AstraZeneca’s ethical guidelines.
