Honeywell Technologies is seeking an R&D Technician I at its McCook, IL site. You will work with engineering teams to bring concepts to reality, reporting to the R&D Supervisor on-site.

The role involves a 12-hour rotating day/night schedule and responsibilities spanning pilot plant operations and process improvements. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 35 lbs, and flexibility to work weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts (days/nights) including some weekends/holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and take readings on a group of pilot plants.
• Collect samples for the labs to analyze.
• Be responsible for your work area to ensure safe and efficient operation of the area.
• Make use of the Honeywell Operating System to continuously make improvements.
