Honeywell is seeking a R&D Tech I for a 12-hour rotating day/night shift at the McCook, IL location. The role supports engineers in moving concepts into reality and contributes to Honeywell's innovation and product portfolio.

You will report to the R&D Supervisor and work on-site; responsibilities include operating pilot plant groups, sample collection, and ensuring safe, efficient operations with continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications

As a R&D Technician I here at Honeywell, you will work closely with engineering teams to help bring new products and solutions from concept to reality, playing a key role in Honeywell's commitment to innovation and excellence.

You will report directly to our R&D Supervisor and you'll work out of our McCook, IL location on an on-site work schedule. This is a 12 hour shift, rotating two weeks on day shift and two weeks on night shift.

In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge technologies that address complex challenges and enhance Honeywell's product portfolio, helping to maintain our competitive edge in the industry.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate, monitor, and take readings on group of pilot plants.

• Be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area
• Make use of the Honeywell Operating System to continuously make improvements.
