Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking an R&D Technician I for our McCook, IL location. You will work with engineering teams to move concepts to reality, contributing to innovation and high standards of excellence.

You will report to the R&D Supervisor and operate on a 12-hour rotating day/night schedule on-site. The role emphasizes safety, instrument readings, sample collection, and continuous improvement using our system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to rotate 12-hour shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Lifts up to 35 lbs and works in a lab/plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and read measurements for pilot plants.
• Collect samples for lab analysis and ensure safety of the area.
• Utilize Honeywell Operating System for continuous improvements.
