Job summary

Honeywell in McCook, IL is seeking an R&D Technician I to collaborate with engineering teams and help bring new products from concept to reality, contributing to Honeywell's innovation and excellence.

You will report to the R&D Supervisor, work on-site, and follow a 12-hour rotating schedule (two weeks day shift, two weeks night shift), with some weekends and holidays. Key duties include operating pilot plants, collecting lab samples, and maintaining a safe, efficient work area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and take readings on group of pilot plants.
• Collect samples for labs to analyze.
• Be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area.
• Make use of the Honeywell Operating System to continuously make improvements.
