Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking an R&D Tech I to contribute to design, testing, and implementation of innovative technologies at our McCook, IL on-site location. You will work with engineering teams to move concepts toward real products, supporting experiments and data-driven validation.

This role emphasizes hands-on lab work, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to safety and quality standards while helping to expand Honeywell’s product portfolio and maintain our industry edge.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting research and development projects in a technology or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of materials science, electronics, or related technical fields relevant to Honeywell’s product lines.
• Proficiency in laboratory testing, data collection, and analysis tools to support product development.
• Familiarity with technical documentation and experimental procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of new products and technologies under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support the execution of experiments, data collection, and analysis to validate technical concepts and designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of new technologies into existing systems and processes.
