Electromechanical Technician

Location: Valencia, CA

Pay Rate: Up to $41.50/hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite

We are seeking an experienced R&D Technician to support research and development projects in a hands‑on laboratory and engineering environment. This temporary opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong electronics assembly, soldering, prototype development, cable assembly, and troubleshooting experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, modify, test, and repair electronic and electromechanical prototypes
• Perform precision soldering and desoldering of through‑hole, SMT, and fine‑pitch components
• Build and modify cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and test fixtures
• Support engineering teams with prototype builds, verification testing, and product development activities
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems using schematics, drawings, and test equipment
• Conduct electrical rework on circuit boards and replace electronic components as needed
• Verify product functionality using multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and other laboratory equipment
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation
• Maintain quality standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics assembly, R&D, engineering support, or laboratory environments
• Advanced soldering and electronic rework skills
