Advantage Technical is seeking a hands-on R&D Engineering Technician to support product development through test method development, mechanical testing, and design verification activities in a fully onsite Maple Grove, MN environment.

The role emphasizes laboratory testing, data collection, and collaboration with engineering teams to ensure compliant, reliable performance across our regulated manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or equivalent related experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of engineering, laboratory, testing, or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with test method development and mechanical testing.
• Hands‑on experience using Instron testing equipment
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data collection skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with engineers and cross‑functional teams
• Experience with design verification testing preferred

R&D Engineering Technician

Location: Maple Grove, MN

Pay: $31.00 per hour

Schedule: Full Onsite

We are seeking a hands‑on R&D Engineering Technician to support product development through test method development, mechanical testing, and design verification activities. This contract opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in laboratory testing, engineering support, and data analysis within a regulated manufacturing or medical device environment.
