Qualifications

• AA Degree or equivalent in related discipline.
• 3 years of related experience.
• Proficiency reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Support R&D by assembling, modifying, and repairing electrical/electronic devices and PCBAs.
• Perform advanced soldering, cable assembly, and precision rework on prototypes.
• Collaborate with engineers on development, verification testing, failure analysis, and improvements.
• Hand soldering/desoldering SMT, through-hole, and fine-pitch components.
• Assemble prototype devices per drawings and work instructions.
• Rapid prototyping and assembly modifications for development.
• Inspect solder joints to IPC quality standards.
• Build/modify complex cable assemblies, harnesses, test interconnects.
• Wire stripping, crimping, solder termination, heat shrink, routing, connector installation.
• Verify cable continuity and insulation resistance with test equipment.
• Interpret wiring diagrams and assembly specifications.
• Electrical rework/repair of prototype and production-equivalent boards.
• Replace damaged/obsolete components.
• Troubleshoot electrical failures using schematics and test equipment.
