Foundation Software is seeking a Technical Writer to create and maintain user documentation, including online help, guides, tutorials, and training materials. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Programmer Analysts, and QA to ensure accuracy and clarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts/Science in Technical Communication, English, or similar degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience managing writing projects from start to finish.
• Working knowledge of FrameMaker, RoboHelp or MadCap Flare preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Translate technical information into user-friendly content.
• Prepare and maintain software documentation for users in online help and guides.
• Prepare and maintain support documentation and training materials.
• Create and send email communications about software updates and maintenance.
• Report quality issues to Quality Assurance Analysts.
• Collaborate professionally with coworkers and supervisors.
• Stay current on programs and modifications and represent the company positively.
