Job summary

Rippling in New York is seeking a Technical Writer to create, maintain, and enhance help documentation and training materials for our platform and data products. You will translate complex concepts into clear, learner-friendly content for diverse audiences, from HR to engineers.

Collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Customer Experience, you will produce user guides, API references, tutorials, and training assets while applying structured content practices and reviewing AI-assisted content

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience creating technical product documentation for a complex, data-centric platform.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience testing product functionality and documentation for technical accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Create user documentation, migration guides, reference material, and tutorials for Rippling platform and Data Cloud offerings.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Experience to identify and close knowledge gaps and improve self-service.
• Apply structured content principles for single-sourcing information across locations and audiences, both human and AI.
• Review, edit, and publish AI-assisted contributor content to meet style guidelines and quality standards.
• Contribute product and content expertise to the development of training materials including videos, system diagrams, infographics, and hands-on exercises.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of developer-focused content, including API guides and other developer tool guides.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and participate in team brainstorming sessions to drive content innovation and strategy.
• Review success metrics across content delivery methods.
• Evangelize the Help Center; inspire other teams to contribute to our knowledge base.
