Job summary

Freedom Technology Solutions Group seeks aTechnical Writer to create clear, accurate documentation for software and systems. You will work closely with software engineers, systems engineers, DevOps, testers, and other SMEs to turn discussions and artifacts into well-structured content.

You will develop guides, procedures, troubleshooting content, and developer docs, translating highly technical material for diverse audiences while ensuring consistency and quality across environments.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
• Experience authoring technical documentation for software/systems
• Ability to independently develop documentation from SME input
• Experience creating user guides and system documentation
• Experience gathering information from engineers and SMEs

Responsibilities

• Author, review, revise, and maintain technical documentation for software development and systems operations
• Develop new content from source material and SME interviews
• Work with engineers, DevOps, testers and SMEs to understand systems
• Translate complex concepts into clear documentation for technical and non-technical audiences
• Create tutorials and step-by-step instructions for end users
• Organize information into logical documentation sets
• Identify documentation gaps and address them with technical teams
