Job summary

Amgen invites graduate students to join the R&D Execution, Strategy & Operations internship (Summer 2027) for approximately 12 weeks. The role focuses on strategy, portfolio/program management, and R&D operations, offering hands-on experience across cross-functional teams and exposure to ESG and talent initiatives.

You will contribute to projects, present findings, and participate in intern-wide events and networking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/Master’s/PharmD/Ph.D. internships considered.
• Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills expected.
• Willingness to learn, proactive attitude and adaptability to change.
• Basic understanding of project management concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support a project within one of R&D EOS functional areas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve R&D speed, agility and excellence.
• Analyze problems, conduct research, and develop recommendations with qualitative/quantitative evidence.
• Present deliverables and findings to an intern poster session and to executive management.
• Engage in learning activities and network with colleagues across Amgen.
