Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, healthcare, or related discipline.
• Advanced degree strongly preferred (PhD, MD, PharmD, MBA, or equivalent).
• 12+ years of biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry experience.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in R&D strategy, operations, portfolio strategy, organizational effectiveness, or related roles.
• Willingness to travel 20% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted strategic advisor and Chief of Staff to the EVP, Head of R&D & CMO.
• Maintain broad visibility across all R&D functions to identify opportunities, risks, and issues.
• Provide regular synthesis of priorities, risks, dependencies, resources, and key decisions.
• Represent the Office of the EVP in cross-functional meetings and strategic initiatives.
• Lead governance, planning, and reporting for R&D leadership and enterprise alignment.
• Develop executive analyses and recommendations for trade-offs, sequencing, and risk/return.
