Broadcom Core Infrastructure in Plano, Texas seeks a Software Engineer (R&D Engineer Software 3) to develop and maintain IT management software. You will join a scrum team, contribute to design reviews, and build automated tests as part of delivering robust IT management solutions for customers globally.

The role requires 5+ years in software development, experience with VSE/z/VM/z/OS, and strong assembler skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of software development experience.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience as a developer in VSE, z/VM or z/OS platforms.
• Strong assembler skills.
• Knowledge of VSE subsystems, POWER and CICS.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop innovative software solutions.
• Work within a scrum team in an agile environment.
• Participate in design and code reviews.
• Contribute to test plan reviews and develop automated test scripts.
