Job summary

Broadcom software’s Mainframe Software Division (MSD) seeks a Software Engineer to design, implement, test and support high-quality Mainframe Database solutions. You will join the Mainframe Datacom team in Plano, TX, collaborating in an Agile environment to deliver robust software meeting user needs and business goals.

You will be involved in development, reviews, sprint activities, and customer interactions to gather feedback and improve product quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Engineering and 5+ years of related experience; postgraduate coursework or Masters may be desirable.

Responsibilities

Analyze and translate business requirements and write high quality, testable code that meets the Agile Definition of Done.
Participate in design and code reviews with other engineers.
Actively participate in Iteration planning, refinement, and sprint reviews.
Deliver stories and tasks within the sprint.
Communicate and collaborate within the team and across boundaries.
Increase efficiency, security, and quality through best practices.
Interact with customers for support issues, demonstrations, and feedback sessions.
