Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals seeks a Senior Director, Head of R&D Resource Management to define global strategy for resource allocation across R&D. This leader will drive AI-enabled forecasting, Planisware optimization, and a governance-ready operating model to maximize portfolio value.

You will partner with functional leaders, manage a team of RM specialists, and deliver enterprise dashboards, scenario analyses, and capacity planning across therapeutic areas, shaping decisions at the highest level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, data analytics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive leadership in pharma/biotech with RM, portfolio analytics, or capacity planning.
• Experience deploying enterprise RM software (Planisware required).
• Strong cross-functional governance, budgeting, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-year strategic vision and operating standards for R&D Resource Management.
• Lead integrated working model across Functional Lines, GPTs, R&D Finance and governance committees.
• Oversee AI/ML forecasting, Planisware algorithm optimization, and data integrity checks.
• Drive Named Allocation deployment, workload balancing, and capacity planning across therapeutic areas.
