Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Staff Project Manager for the Power Tools platform within Digital R&D. You will plan and execute complex electro-mechanical medical device projects, coordinating mechanical, electrical, firmware, and QA teams to deliver on time and within budget.

The role emphasizes disciplined design controls, V&V, and regulatory alignment, with close collaboration across global sites and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field is required.
• 5+ years of project management experience in regulated Class II medical device environments.
• Experience with electro-mechanical hardware projects and V&V activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own project planning and baseline management for Power Tools projects, including WBS and IMS.
• Manage schedule execution, critical path, milestones, and weekly status to leadership.
• Drive electro-mechanical build/test cadence, including DVP and design validation phases.
• Coordinate interfaces across mechanical, electrical, firmware, and CAD teams to a single integrated plan.
• Manage project budget baseline, EVMS tracking, and risk/issue management.
• Lead weekly core team meetings and ensure timely follow-through across functions.
