Job summary

Johnson & Johnson, based in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, seeks a Staff R&D Project Manager for the Power Tools platform in Digital R&D. You will own the integrated plan, budget, and EVM, coordinating across mechanical, electrical, firmware, systems, V&V, quality, regulatory, and supply chain teams to ensure on‑time, compliant delivery of complex orthopaedic tools.

You will drive stage-gate readiness, manage risks, and partner with QA and Regulatory Affairs to meet design controls and regulatory

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
5+ years PM experience in regulated Class II product development environments.
Experience with phase-gate execution and design controls in a QMS environment.

Responsibilities

Own project planning and baseline management for Power Tools projects, including WBS and IMS.
Manage schedule, milestones, and weekly status communications to platform leadership.
Drive design controls, DDPP, and V&V activities across mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software streams.
Coordinate multi-site execution across US and Europe partners.
Maintain project RAID log with proactive mitigation actions and escalation when needed.
Lead project closure activities, lessons learned, and transition to lifecycle management.
