Job summary

Saint-Gobain North America seeks a dynamic R&D PMO Project Manager/Team Leader to guide a team of Project Managers across cross-functional initiatives from concept to commercialization. The role emphasizes strong leadership and program execution in building materials and systems.

In this capacity you will drive strategic PMO programs, foster team development, mentor staff, and partner with engineers, researchers, and business teams to ensure alignment with market needs and technical feasibility.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors + 15+ years of experience / Masters + 10+ years of experience / Ph.D. + 6+ years of experience.
• Progressive leadership role in directly managing a Project Management team.
• Overseeing workload, team culture and development.
• PM certification (CAPM, PMP, Scrum Master or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Team Enablement: mentor newer team members and establish best practices.
• Project Ownership: lead end-to-end project management and risk management.
• Cross-functional Coordination: align multiple workstreams and resolve blockers.
• Stakeholder Communication: manage internal and external stakeholders and communicate impact.
• Strategic Contribution: refine PMO vision and roadmaps with market insights.
