Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent hands-on engineering experience.
• 10+ years of professional experience in an engineering or technical environment.
• Experience with prototyping, machining, hand tools, precision measurement equipment, soldering, crimping, and electrical test equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and multi-tasking skills in a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Support design, fabrication, assembly, modification, and testing of electro-mechanical instruments.
• Build and test R&D prototypes across the engineering development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, optical, fluidic, and system-level instrument issues and root cause.
• Assist transfer of development instruments into manufacturing, including troubleshooting guides and assembly procedures.
• Assist reliability, verification, validation, and laboratory testing activities.
