Philips in the United States seeks a Mechanical R&D Engineer to design and analyze structural components for superconducting MRI magnet systems. Proficiency in 3D modeling and GD&T is required, with cross-functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and QA.

You will perform load analyses, support prototype development, and document results to ensure robust designs. Experience with ANSYS, Autodesk Inventor, and Matlab is desired.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Physics.
• Experience solving complex problems with modeling/analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret GD&T.
• Experience with test hardware and data acquisition (a plus).

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain structural designs for superconducting MRI magnet systems.
• Perform static/dynamic load and stress analyses using hand calculations and FEA.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing on fabrication and qualification.
• Document engineering analyses, test plans, and technical reports.
