Job summary

Philips is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (Welding/Brazing) to support production of superconducting MRI magnets onsite in Lathem, NY. You will collaborate across manufacturing, quality, design, and supplier teams to drive process validation and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in medical device manufacturing with welding/brazing experience, and are proficient in PFMEA, IQ/OQ/PQ, GD&T, and root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, with medical device manufacturing preferred.
• Understanding of welding/brazing technologies and tooling design for welding/brazing.
• Experience with process validation documentation (PFMEA, IQ/OQ/PQ) and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Production support for large industrial superconducting MRI magnets.
• Interface with production management, quality engineering, design engineering, supplier quality engineering, and technicians.
• Opportunity to develop a wide range of engineering skills in a medical device environment.
