Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services in San Jose seeks an R&D Technician to support solid-state battery development by executing cell fabrication, processing materials, and managing lab operations under SOPs.

You will partner with engineers and scientists, run experiments, document results, track inventory, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while wearing full clean room PPE. High school diploma required; 1+ year lab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of hands-on lab/R&D or process manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work in a dry room, fume hood or glovebox.
• Willingness to wear full clean room PPE.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Build coin cells, pouch cells, or solid-state devices following strict SOPs.
• Support experiments with engineers and scientists on materials processing, metrology, and lab experiments.
• Record experimental data, track inventory, and report anomalies or results using MS Office or internal tools.
• Keep a clean, safe workspace and maintain equipment or supplies.
• Operate microscopes to image parts and assist in QC.
