Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is hiring an R&D Technician to work onsite at a Battery Manufacturing plant in San Jose, CA. The role involves supporting solid-state battery development, cell fabrication, processing materials, and lab operations under SOPs.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year lab/R&D experience; exposure to clean rooms, medical or semiconductor environments is a plus. Shift is 1:00 PM–9:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with long-term opportunity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years hands-on experience in a laboratory, R&D, or process manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the battery industry or hi-tech device assembly is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cell fabrication & testing following SOPs.
• Experiment support with engineers and scientists on materials processing, metrology, and lab experiments.
• Data recording, inventory tracking, and reporting anomalies using MS Office or internal tools.
• Lab maintenance and upkeep of a clean, safe workspace and equipment.
