ManpowerGroup is seeking a R&D Laboratory Technician for our client—a leading materials and product development organization—in Maplewood, Minnesota. The role supports upstream R&D activities, with an emphasis on hands-on testing, data integrity, and adherence to procedures.

The ideal candidate has laboratory experience, comfort following complex instructions, and proficiency with Excel. This 12-month contract offers hands-on opportunities and collaboration across lab teams.

Qualifications

• 2 years laboratory experience preferred or entry-level with lab exposure.
• Ability to follow complex procedures in a hands-on setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel to create/modify formulas and graphs.
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, operate, and maintain lab equipment used for testing materials.
• Perform routine tests to determine material characteristics.
• Record all testing processes and document results in templates or electronic systems.
• Observe tests, troubleshoot issues, and assist with data analysis and reports.
