Job summary

ManpowerGroup, the parent company of Experis, is seeking a R&D Laboratory Technician for their Maplewood, Minnesota site. The role supports upstream R&D activities within the Lab Support group, offering a hands-on environment and opportunities to troubleshoot and learn.

The position is a 12-month contract with a pay range of $18 to $22 per hour. Responsibilities include equipment operation, routine testing, detailed documentation, and data communication to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of laboratory experience or entry-level with lab exposure.
• Ability to follow complex procedures and apply general lab practices.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel for formulas and graphs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment used for testing experimental materials and product modifications.
• Support technical staff by performing routine tests to determine characteristics of tape, film, adhesives, and other materials.
• Record in detail all processes used in testing, sample preparation, and testing setup.
• Document test results in electronic programs or templates, and communicate outcomes to the requester.
• Observe tests, note irregularities, troubleshoot problems, and assist with data analysis and reports when needed.
