Advantage Technical is seeking a detail-oriented R&D Test Technician to support medical device testing and quality initiatives in Maple Grove, MN. This temporary, full-time role offers hands-on lab work and opportunities to impact product quality.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or equivalent experience and 3+ years in a lab, with proficient data collection, documentation, and MS Office skills; experience in regulated environments is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a science-related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of related laboratory or testing experience.
• Experience with analytical lab techniques such as weighing, pipetting, and data collection.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing or medical device environment is a plus.
• Chemistry, biology, or product testing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory testing and record accurate results.
• Collect, analyze, and report test data.
• Troubleshoot testing issues and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain test documentation, forms, and data files.
• Assist with product testing, failure analysis, and quality investigations.
• Support engineers with qualification activities and corrective action projects.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and testing tools.
• Communicate findings and testing results with cross-functional teams.
