Job summary

Experis, a leading unit of the ManpowerGroup, is seeking an Industrial Laboratory Technician in Maplewood, Minnesota for a 12-month, 100% onsite contract. The role focuses on R&D and material testing, with a pay range of $18 to $25 per hour on a W-2 basis.

The successful candidate will perform technical activities, develop new test methods, document data, and maintain instruments while collaborating with a team to push forward cutting-edge research and ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in chemistry or related field with 3+ years of industrial laboratory experience.
• Proficiency in titration, ICP, and ion chromatography techniques.
• Experience in sample preparation including stock solutions, standards, dilutions, and pipetting accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical activities related to R&D and material testing on a program basis under moderate supervision.
• Initiate and complete technical activities leading to the development of new or improved test methods.
• Establish and maintain a network of support to facilitate the completion of assignments.
• Document experimental data and observations accurately in electronic formats and prepare reports as needed.
• Support routine sample preparation, analysis, chemical inventory management, and instrument calibration and maintenance.
