Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Industrial Laboratory Technician in Maplewood, MN, 100% onsite, on a 12-month contract. You will support R&D and material testing, performing technical activities under moderate supervision and helping develop new test methods.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS in chemistry or related field with 3+ years industrial lab experience, and proficiency in titration, ICP, and ion chromatography.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in chemistry or related field with 3+ years of industrial laboratory experience.
• Proficiency in Titration, Inductively Coupled Plasma, and Ion Chromatography techniques.
• Experience in sample preparation, including stock solutions, standards, dilutions, and pipetting accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical activities related to R&D and material testing on a program basis under moderate supervision.
• Initiate and complete technical activities leading to the development of new or improved test methods.
• Establish and maintain a network of support to facilitate the completion of assignments.
• Document experimental data and observations accurately in electronic formats and prepare reports as needed.
• Support routine sample preparation, analysis, chemical inventory management, and instrument calibration and maintenance.
