Job summary

Scoular invites you to join our Research and Development internship in the United States. You will develop and test food and beverage prototypes using Scoular ingredients and support customer-driven innovation projects.

You’ll collaborate across R&D, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and FSQR teams while presenting your summer project findings. The program emphasizes independent research, understanding ingredient quality and regulatory functions, and engagement with our Food Safety, Quality,

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field.
• Preferably a 2029 grad.
• Self-driven with entrepreneurial mindset.
• A strong communicator with a customer service mindset.
• Comfortable working in high volume environment and managing multiple tasks.
• Quick to identify a problem and find the best solution.
• Curious and creative, flexible and innovative in approach.
• Emerging leader with experience leading in clubs, athletics, projects, or student government.
• Active in the community giving back on campus, hometown, or on a global scale.

Responsibilities

• R&D and Product Development: Develop and test food and beverage prototypes using Scoular ingredients.
• Support customer-focused innovation projects and document results.
• Participate in product evaluations and sensory testing.
• Ingredient Research and Innovation: Research ingredient functionality and emerging food trends.
• Evaluate ingredient performance through laboratory testing.
• Summarize findings and recommendations for the R&D team.
• Project Management: Complete an assigned summer project and present findings.
• Collaborate with R&D, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and FSQR teams.
• Support additional projects as assigned by the R&D team.
