Job summary

The Scoular Company is seeking a Research and Development Intern for Summer 2027 in Minneapolis, MN. This role offers hands-on experience in developing formulas using Scoular ingredients and engaging with FSQR and product teams to understand ingredient functionality and regulatory considerations.

You will work on R&D, ingredient research, and project management tasks, collaborating across departments to deliver summer projects and present findings to the team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field, preferably a 2029 grad.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test food and beverage prototypes using Scoular ingredients.
• Support customer-focused innovation projects and document results.
• Participate in product evaluations and sensory testing.
• Research ingredient functionality and emerging food trends.
• Evaluate ingredient performance through laboratory testing.
• Summarize findings and recommendations for the R&D team.
• Complete an assigned summer project and present findings.
• Collaborate with R&D, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and FSQR teams.
• Support additional projects as assigned by the R&D team.
