Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated in White Marsh, MD, offers a summer 2027 internship for an ambitious student in Customized Formulations Applications & Development. You will support new product development, prepare food formulations and prototypes, and work on pilot plant and lab bench scale with GMP guidance.

You’ll analyze data, write technical reports, and present results to project teams while learning from experienced mentors in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Food Science, Food Engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated lab or pilot-plant experience is a plus.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support new product development and create formulations and prototypes.
• Perform analytical testing and document results with guidance.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to the team.
• Operate laboratory equipment safely and maintain a clean workspace.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
