Insight Global is seeking an R&D embedded software engineer for a large agriculture client. You will architect, develop, and maintain desktop and embedded .NET applications interfacing with industrial hardware, cameras, sensors, and robotic systems.

PLC programs in Structured Text and Beckhoff TwinCAT experience are required. The role involves configuring Epson RC+ robot controllers, integrating robotic routines into automation workflows, and implementing MQTT/MODBUS/EtherCAT protocols.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of C# .NET for industrial automation.
• Hardware experience connecting sensors to machines.
• 5 years PLC programming with Structured Text (IEC61131-3).
• 3 years with Epson RC+ robotics.
• 3 years of Python/C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain desktop and embedded .NET applications interfacing with industrial hardware.
• Write PLC programs in Structured Text and Beckhoff TwinCAT platforms.
• Configure and troubleshoot Epson RC+ robot controllers and integrate robotic routines into automation workflows.
• Implement and debug industrial protocols including MQTT, MODBUS, EtherCAT, and other fieldbus standards.
