Job summary

Maverick Power is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for its R&D team in Phoenix,AZ. You will design and develop LV up to 1 kV and MV up to 38 kV power systems, prototype and test components, and drive innovation across energy technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in R&D or design of LV/MV power systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop LV up to 1 kV and MV 1 kV–38 kV systems.
• Prototype, test, and validate power system components (transformers, switchgear, breakers).
• Conduct research to improve efficiency, safety, and sustainability of LV/MV systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and product teams to integrate electrical designs.
• Prepare design specifications and documentation for regulatory approvals.
