Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; 8+ years experience may qualify.
- Minimum of 5 years in R&D or design of LV and/or MV power systems.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks Electrical for wiring schematics.
- Experience designing power system components like transformers and switchgear.
- Knowledge of IEEE, IEC, UL, NEC standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop LV (up to 1kV) and MV (1kV–38kV) power systems.
- Prototype and test power system components, including protection devices.
- Research new technologies to improve efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and product teams.
- Prepare technical reports and design specifications; ensure regulatory compliance.
- Troubleshoot issues during development, testing, and field deployment.
