Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in California is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the W87-1 Systems team, focusing on the Flight Test Vehicle program. You will contribute to integration, testing, and data analysis for the EFTU and DJTA10 USAF integration, coordinating with multiple engineering domains to ensure mission success.

The role requires hardware/software integration expertise, proficiency in C/C++ and Python, and a DOE Q clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test equipment, subcomponents, cables and hardware for Flight Test Vehicles.
• Integrate systems across hardware, software, mechanical, and aerospace domains.
• Provide technical direction for assembly, calibration, troubleshooting, and operation of test equipment.
• Troubleshoot anomalies and implement mitigation strategies.
• Develop automated test solutions and process flight test data for actionable insights.
• Collaborate across SNL Systems Organizations to meet flight test schedules and address integration challenges.
• Analyze test data to inform design decisions and mitigate risks.
