Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories seeks an experienced Cleared Senior/Principal R&D Electrical Engineer for the W80-4/W80-5 JTA Systems Engineering Team in NM/CA. The role focuses on integrating JTA electrical components, planning lab/flight tests, and analyzing data to support mission delivery.

Onsite work with travel up to 25% is required, with DOE Q-level clearance expected. The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary efforts, develop design definitions and requirements, and participate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and five (5) years of directly relevant experience or equivalent combination.
• Active US DOE Q-level security clearance, or equivalent DOD Top Secret level clearance to start.

Responsibilities

• Integrate JTA electrical components and subsystems; develop system design definition and requirements documents.
• Plan and execute JTA lab/ground and flight tests; operate ground station equipment and troubleshoot anomalies.
• Analyze test data and make decisions to proceed with mission delivery.
• Support flight tests and test range operations; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead and mentor team members; review activities for JTA system design and qualification.
