Job summary

HP Hood is seeking an entry-level R&D Technical Documentation Specialist I to support data entry in PLM and ENF systems, ensuring accuracy for formulas and specifications. You will learn internal processes, collaborate with Scientists and Engineers, and help meet project timelines while adhering to data standards.

Ideal candidates have a 0-3 year data/documentation background, a food science or engineering degree, and interest in food industry data management.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of Data Management/Documentation experience.
• Masters/Bachelors of Science/Engineering degree in Food Science or related field of study.
• Experience in food industry highly beneficial.
• Computer Science and/or Coding Knowledge highly beneficial.
• Certifications highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Enter/update formulas, ingredient and product specifications, process instructions in PLM and ENF systems as provided by Scientists/Engineers.
• With supervision, communicate with internal approvers and suppliers to complete Ingredient Spec and Formula approvals.
• Create/obsolete items for PLM.
• Complete tasks in ENF.
• Adhere to R&D SOPs and checklists.
• Travel required as needed for business; notify supervisor when not manageable.
