Job summary

HP Hood is seeking an R&D Technical Documentation Specialist I to accurately enter and manage data in PLM and ENF systems, supporting formulas, specifications, and process instructions. You will work with Scientists and Engineers to meet project timelines and adhere to data management standards.

The role requires 0–3 years in data management/documentation, a degree in Food Science or related field, and beneficial experience in the food industry and in coding or CS knowledge.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of Data Management/Documentation experience.
• Masters/Bachelors of Science/Engineering degree in Food Science or related field of study.
• Experience in food industry highly beneficial.
• Computer Science and/or Coding Knowledge highly beneficial.
• Certifications highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and accurately enters / updates formulas, ingredient and product specifications, process instructions in PLM system with information provided by Scientists/Engineers, Right the First Time.
• With supervision, communicate with internal approvers and suppliers to complete Ingredient Spec and Formula approvals
• Completes assigned tasks to create/obsolete items for PLM
• Completes assigned tasks in ENF
• Adhere to R&D Standard Operating Procedures and checklists.
• Travel required as needed for business; communicate with supervisor when not manageable.
