Job summary

MAPEI is seeking an R&D Chemist Intern to collaborate with our R&D and Quality teams in Deerfield Beach, FL, gaining hands-on lab experience. The program includes rotations across R&D laboratories and factory locations, with mentorship and exposure to multiple teams.

The role offers full-time hours in a 12-week internship (May–August 2027), with potential for future full-time opportunities after graduation. Housing stipends may be considered depending on circumstances.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• Strong motivation to learn and succeed with an innovative mindset.
• Willingness to travel and collaborate across locations.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the R&D team to execute department goals.
• Work on special projects and initiatives in a laboratory setting.
• Support laboratory testing work and maintain lab notes.
• Assist in generating reports and presentations for the technical team.
