Job summary

MAPEI is seeking an R&D Chemist Intern to support the R&D and Quality teams, gaining hands-on lab experience. The program offers rotations between R&D laboratories and factory locations, including Garland, TX, with potential for future full-time opportunities after graduation.

Responsibilities include executing department goals, supporting testing, maintaining lab notes, and preparing reports for the technical team. Housing stipends may be available in certain situations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in a relevant field (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science)
• Willingness to travel and learn in a dynamic lab environment
• Strong motivation to learn and contribute to projects and teams

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the R&D team to execute department goals
• Work on special projects and initiatives in a laboratory setting
• Support laboratory testing work
• Prepare and maintain lab notes
