Job summary

MAPEI S.p.A. is seeking an R&D Chemist Intern to collaborate with our R&D and Quality teams, gaining hands-on lab experience and contributing to ongoing projects. This role may lead to full-time opportunities in an R&D lab or field quality control team.

You will work on specialized projects, support testing, and prepare lab notes while developing reports for the technical team. This internship offers exposure to multiple host locations and a pathway to permanent roles after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field (juniors and seniors preferred).
• Demonstrates initiative, curiosity, and an innovative mindset.
• Strong motivation to learn and succeed.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Support R&D and Quality teams to execute department goals.
• Work on special projects and laboratory initiatives.
• Assist in laboratory testing and maintain detailed lab notes.
• Generate reports and presentations for the technical team.
• Maintain day-to-day laboratory operations.
