Job summary

MAPEI is seeking an R&D Chemist Intern to support the R&D and Quality teams, gaining hands-on lab experience. The program offers rotations between R&D laboratories and factory locations, including Garland, TX, with potential for future full-time opportunities after graduation.

Responsibilities include executing department goals, supporting testing, maintaining lab notes, and preparing reports for the technical team. Housing stipends may be available in certain situations.

Qualifications

The Opportunity

As an R&D Chemist Intern, you will collaborate with our R&D and Quality teams to support projects and special initiatives while gaining hands‑on experience in day‑to‑day laboratory operations. This experience may lead to future full‑time Lab Technician opportunities within an R&D laboratory or field Quality Control team.

• Work as part of the R&D team to execute department goals
• Work on special projects and initiatives in a laboratory setting
• Support laboratory testing work
• Prepare and maintain lab notes
• Assist in generating reports and presentations for the technical team

The Program Details

• Fulltime schedule (40 hours weekly)
• Internship Duration: May - August 2027 (12 weeks)
• Rotations: R&D Laboratory (technical training) & practical learning at factory locations
• Host Locations: Deerfield Beach FL, Calhoun GA, Swedesboro NJ, Garland, TX
