Job summary

Natera, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Data Science Production Engineering within the DSPE department to lead a Data Engineering & Delivery team, handling PB-sized datasets and cloud-based data products that support Lab Operations and genetic counseling.

You will translate business needs into robust architectures, guide design and deployment, and mentor engineers while ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery across cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field; experience in regulated settings is required.
• Proven leadership of data engineering or analytics teams in pharma/medical environments.
• Strong SQL/Python skills with experience delivering data products and ETL pipelines.
• Experience translating business needs into scalable data architectures and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Data Engineering & Delivery team to build data infrastructure and ETL pipelines.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and designs.
• Develop and maintain data products and data delivery solutions across DSPE.
• Ensure compliance, quality, and thorough documentation of procedures.
