Job summary

Natera is seeking a Senior Manager of the DevOps team within the Data Science Production Engineering (DSPE) department. You will lead a team handling data platforms, cloud platforms, automation, and analytics systems to support Lab Operations and Genetic Counselor/Lab Director teams.

You will drive reliable, scalable infrastructure for genomics and clinical workflows. You will translate business needs into technical plans, design scalable architectures, and maintain high-availability systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Bioinformatics, or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
• 8+ years experience for Master’s, 4+ for Doctorate; 10+ for Bachelor’s.
• 3+ years in a highly regulated environment (e.g., CLIA/FDA).
• 3+ years of management experience leading a DevOps or software team.
• Proven experience designing, delivering, and maintaining production software/tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a DevOps team to develop, test, deploy, maintain, and update DSPE data/cloud/automation systems.
• Ensure timely and robust delivery of software products and systems.
• Train and coach team members on new technologies and best practices.
• Create and maintain operational visibility and performance metrics for DSPE DevOps.
