Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon in Solomon, KS is seeking a Sales Support Representative to provide operational and administrative support across the sales and order fulfillment process. You will help with quote development, process orders, coordinate across departments, and ensure accurate information in Salesforce, SYSPRO, and other systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or order management preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn and efficiently use business systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain customer quotes, opportunities, and related sales information in Salesforce and other systems.
• Review and coordinate quote requests, bid packages, specifications, drawings, and customer requirements.
• Process sales orders accurately per procedures and internal controls.
• Review pricing and order requirements using engineering quotations and historical data.
• Support complex bids and large orders with cross-functional coordination.
• Maintain accurate sales order information from entry to shipment.
• Monitor order status and coordinate with Operations and Engineering to meet commitments.
• Maintain opportunity, quote, order, and shipment data in Salesforce and SYSPRO.
• Prepare inventory analyses for Sales to develop opportunities, quotes, and orders.
• Communicate with customers regarding quotes, orders, and status inquiries.
• Identify discrepancies or issues and coordinate timely resolutions.
